Flights are calculated as a variable rate when:
1. Booked less than 14 business days in advance of the travel date.
2. They are one way flights.
3. They are multi destination flights.
4. The flights origin and destination are not on the redemption chart.
5. Multiple airlines are requested. For example, departure with American Airlines but return with Caribbean Airlines.
6. The customer request an expensive flight that isn't the most direct and affordable.
